Our Story
Beyond The Bedside was created from the vision of Janetta, a Registered Nurse whose father was diagnosed with vascular dementia at the tender age of 55 years old. As she assisted her family navigate the healthcare system while simultaneously providing personal care in the home, she realized the true meaning of patient care extending beyond the bedside.
Since 2017 Beyond The Bedside has continued their mission to educate, empower, and enrich the lives of every family served. Our team provides person-centered services that support managing personal care in the home. At Beyond The Bedside we recognize every family has unique needs. As a Consumer-Directed Service Facilitation provider for Virginia Medicaid CCC Plus, CL, and FIS waiver enrollees we help develop care plans unique to each family that support quality of life improvement and opportunities to succeed in life and in the community.
